Speaking about the inspiration behind the record on Hot Ones in 2019, Eilish told host Sean Evans that "Ilomilo" alludes to a 2010 puzzle video game. “Ilomilo” comes off Eilish’s Grammy-winning debut studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? As fans know, the song makes references to some of the artist's other tracks on the album including “Bury A Friend” and “Xanny.” “The world's a little blurry / Or maybe it's my eyes / The friends I've had to bury / They keep me up at night / Said I couldn't love someone / 'Cause I might break / If you're gonna die, not by mistake," Eilish sings on the track. The video itself features the teenager jumping up into the air in slow motion as her green-and-black-colored mane flares around her. Eilish’s latest video release, recorded during her October 2019 performance at Houston’s Toyota Center, will appear in the new documentary. On Monday (February 22), the 19-year-old pop star shared a live version of her track “Ilomilo," drawing more anticipation for her new passion project, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, debuting this Friday. Billie Eilish released a brand new visual to promote her upcoming documentary.
